Running some testings...
Doing some work/testing here.
Don't panic!
hehe.
I know, I miss my old template too, but no worries, I've got it saved. Unless my new lappie's hard drive crashes, I'll be restoring the old template up in no time.
o/s: It's July 26th already! Time is flying.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY sai sai lou
My two very leng zai brothers. I'm sure everyone knows who's who. Left Siti, right Tommie.
Oops the other way round. Or maybe not.
Today (July 22nd) is Seu Foong zai aka Tommie's 19th birthday!

The hansem brother and his prettiest sister, back in 2006.
I haven't spent his birthday with him for the past 3 years. I didn't realize it until 5 mins ago when I started counting. Okay, that is quite sad. I missed out on his teenage years!
:(
At least I will always give/send him something on his birthday to remind him that he still has the best sister in the world. (duh, was there ever a doubt?)
For example: The card on the right was sent by me, back in July 06.
I definitely bought him more than a card, I just don't remember what it was. Nevertheless, this year, I highly doubt that the card which both TF and I wrote will arrive. The probability of cards arriving to Setapak is 25%. So far 4 cards have been sent, only 1 received.
POS MSIA SUCKS!

Me, my brother, and Ying Jeh
Since my parents are now holidaying in China, my brother is officially home alone on his birthday (which can be a good thing *winks*). So I've decided to surprise him with a special entry especially dedicated to him!

My first time doing a collage. Took these pictures when we were up on the Eye of Msia and I said I wanted to do a collage. Now, here it is!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SF !!!
Maybe next year we can celebrate your birthday together!

Look at his left ear
Can't wait to see in person what you did to your ear.
Dad's response : Aiyoh so worrying.

Food pics!
Was cleaning up the pictures in my old laptop and saw many pictures that was dated long long ago...
There's a question that I've always wanted to ask everyone, should we keep pictures of our past relationships?
Ok actually I asked many of you before, some say why not, some say never ever.. ahh.
That aside, found one picture of the family. Hmm.. yep that's our last family picture together, and it was dated 3 years ago, back in 2005.
I guess no introduction is needed here.
Thats our house. Way before the aquarium (on the left) broke one night when Tommie was watching TV. Then the whole family had to wake up to clean up the mess. Don't know if the fishes died. I wasn't very into fishes anyway.
Then I found some pictures of the food that I missed so much back home. Can anyone guess where the pictures are taken from? It's pretty easy.
Taken from my utmost favorite dim sum restaurant in KL
Only one place serves this dish so perfectly
NASI LEMAK - RM13.90++ (a year ago)
Taken from the same dim sum restaurant as above

Few days ago at work I was suddenly humming to a tune, a tune that I knew I heard somewhere. I hate those feeling - where you know what it is deep within but you just can't figure it out. Took me so long. I tried to hum the whole song and I did. Then.. finally.... it dawned to me what song it is...
Tada... this is the song below on YouTube.

13 random things on my mind....
............with correlation = 0 on each item........
(HAHAHA correlation. I LIKE.)
1) I splurged so much lately I am going to faint for a month when I see my credit card bill. I think I might have spent 3k in the past 3 weeks >< oh-uh.
2) Political news in Malaysia is so over-the-top lately I'm getting so tired. In the past I'll read on and tell everyone how interesting it is. Malaysia seem to be moving to a better place, more democratic, with citizens with better maturity. But apparently politicians are heading the other way. It was fun to read Dr. Mahathir's blog and see him trash Badawi for awhile. Then it becomes tiring. When is this ever going to end?
3) I'm the worst stock buyer ever. I started buying right before stocks plummeted. Until right now I'm still in the negative territory! RAWRRRRRRRR NYSE when are you going to be bullish again?!?! COME ON! Just when I thought Q1 is bad enough, Q2 is worse! Ok I'm bracing for an equally bad Q3. Three words : WTF.
4) Go Read Nic's take on his relationship in his blog.
5) I went to the gym again today. This is the 2nd consecutive week that I'm going to gym. The realistic me says that I will be able to keep this for only 3 weeks (so 1 more week to go before I give up). The optimistic me says that I have 2 more weeks before I give up.
Hey. Be nice. If there's a swimming pool instead, I'll go there every week definitely. Too bad, no swimming pool.
6) I AM MISSING EGG TARTS !!!!! My ultimate fav foooood.
7)What was the weirdest gift you ever received from a friend when he or she visited/stopped by your house?
Mine was Durian.
I will never forget it LOL. I still remember who gave it to me. Okla that was because he knew I like to eat durians. :)
Ok I know some people will think it's funny to annoy me and bring me durians when they visit me in the future (everybody likes to come to my house because my house is a casino/entertainment centre. And my mom is friendly hehe). But no it won't be funny, but my dad will remember you.
8) I will miss Ben & Jerry's ice cream! Awww... I just bought a super small pint today.
This is how small it is. They have the same size for Häagen-Dazs too.

So cute!
I'll miss the ice-cream eating sessions! 2 months ago I kept complaning that I gained so much weight, I lost it all now (I believe). So, back to eating ice-creams again! Just moderately now (not excessively like before omgosh). You know who you are!
9) To some people who are earning big bucks and think that their 1 dollar coupon (or 2, or 5, whatever) is bigger than the pizza and the world, we SALUTE you. We = me + Ben & Jerry. RESPECT.
10) I was looking forward for summer all winter long. Turns out summer isn't all that good. The weather in Iowa felt like Malaysia's 12pm for 12 hours - from 8am to 8pm. If this is the transition period (so that I can get used to the weather in Msia next time), I think I rather have winter all year long so that I'll be more appreciative when I see the sun in KL. Ok. I didn't just say that.
11) More people asked me about "my plans" after reading my previous entry. Trying very hard to annoy me eh? I am touched that so many of you still read my blog. But now I have legiminate reasons to snap. OK. That was the PMS talking. I am trying to be nicer. Day by day. Be patient.
12) PLAN C now!!! Sorry back to Plan A. HAHAHA if you know what's plan A you know why! AAhhhhhh..
13) Didn't anyone tell you I'm fickle minded?
14) I just cooked meehoon, and It didn't taste very nice. I think I want to throw the rest away. (THIS IS A RARE OCCASION OK)

Golfing on a Friday
I. played. golf. yesterday.
My whole body is sore now.
and I'm very tanned. I was out in the sun for 3 hours! aaaahhh!!!
It was a company event. Joe was supposed to take his intern out for golfing but he called in sick the last minute (on very suspicious grounds hehehe because his exam results were out that day) so his intern, who is also a Malaysian from Drake, whose name is Sean, asked me to be Joe's replacement and I agreed.
So golfing here we come!

I'm so glad Sean played before. I can imagine if both of us were playing for the first time, it will be chaotic. I was pretty much lost in the golf course.

That's Sean. and he plays golf very well!!
If not for him, we would have marked 8 all the way on the 9 holes that we played.
Yeah we played 9 holes, and it took us 3 hours to finish it all. By the time we reached the 5th or 6th hole, I'm already exhausted. and sweaty. and hungry.

Took the pic while waiting for our turn to play.
Then while driving around the range looking for the balls, we found tiny apples! Very cute! There must be apple trees around ...... or maybe not.

I'm 95% sure they're mini apples. Hmm... maybe 90%.

This is when I started feeling a little restless.. hehe
All in all I thought it was a very fun experience. It wasn't boring at all! In fact I thought it was very relaxing and great if a group of friends play together as a sports activity. It cannot be a group of girls because we will end up giggling and complaining about the sun in the end. It can't be all guys either because that's so boring.
So, the best is if couples come and pair up as a team! So, like 2-3 teams play against each other. You know, like those tennis games that they have in TVB series.
I should learn tennis too someday. Haha, that's when I can find an indoor tennis court.

Went to Des Moines again last weekend because it was a long weekend (July 4th was US's independence day). Consistently slept after 2am again for 3 nights in a row. So unhealthy right?
But it was a fun weekend. Watched Wall-E and Hancock. Sang Karaoke! Had japanese food twice, vietnamese food twice, missing dim sum very much suddenly I don't know why, and we cooked the best potluck in Keny's house on Friday.
THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED....
I got to teach everyone how to play Shengji!
Best quote from Keny and my bro after 2 games:
"I don't want to think anymore. I want to sleep."
Some people like the complicated aspect of it. Some people don't. That's just the way it is. I personally think it's a fab game. Can't wait to teach my family when I'm back!

NO MORE PLANS
Honestly, I'm getting tired of people asking me the same questions about my plans. I mean, it's ok if one person asks, but now it's like 10000 people asking me at different times, and I don't have a lot of patience to repeat the same thing over and over again, especially when I'm technically not supposed to reveal anything yet.
So, if I don't tell you anything, I'm not ready to let you know yet. If I'm telling you, I'm telling you. Or you'll just know when the cat's out of the bag.
Sorry if I'll snap at you. I can't help it. I mean, my plan is my plan. I get emails at work asking me about my plans in english. I'm like...WTH? really speechless sometimes..
Will do a happier post this weekend. This will do for now.

Great Dance video - Bleeding Love
Watch this.
This is a dance routine shown on "So you think you can dance" on TV, by Chelsie and Mark. If this video gets deleted by Youtube (which I guess it will soon), go search for it! Omg this is THE dance man.
It just brings a whole new meaning to this song.
Someday, I would love to be able to dance like that. Ahh.. someday. It's coming.
I want a cute hot male dancer as my partner. I am ok with the guy in the video. :D PASS!

2008 - we're almost halfway done
HELLO HELLO HELLO!
All the planning is making me excited, I cannot wait to go back!! I cannot wait to see the people that I've been longing to see for sooo long - you probably know who you are. Ahh, Sandy I miss you so much.

A gentle reminder of how cute she was is, my sandy girl..
I bought a laptop few days ago. Bought it within a few hours, didn't even think much. Lazy la, I'm not the I-will-check-consistenly-everyday-until-I-spot-a-steal type of girl, unless it's something that I think is really overpriced and not worth buying without a sale (for example: Wii). Oh did I mention I bought a Wii too? I think my friends play it more than me now. Next time everyone who plays it should create their own Mii (aka players) so whenever I play I'll see their Miis and it'll remind me of them. Now there's only one other Mii in my Wii and everyone's been using his little CuX to play! Hahaha kinda funny.
Back to my laptop.
It's such a cool little gadget, I love the design!!

This is such a handsome looking laptop.
Sorry it's a HP. To all the HP haters out there who advised me against buying HP the other night, please don't scold me anymore.
An example of why sometimes advices aren't necessarily useful..
---------------------------------------------------------
On MSN...
A: Don't buy HP.
Me: Why??
A: Buy Toshiba
Me: But I want something lighter.
A: Dell's good too.
Me: What's good about Dell?
A: or Sony.
Me: ..................
Me: Which one are you advising me to buy now???
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Sometimes some people make the already-confused me even more confused.
2008 is almost halfway done, and the other half is going to be so exciting!
Life is good to me so far. I love it.
(Ok let this continue until July 2nd please hehe)
